Star Arctic Hotel features several room types. The Scenic Suite includes a south-facing window on the first floor with views of Saariselkä, and a north-facing window on the second floor for observing the Northern Lights. There are 12 Scenic View Suites with Sauna. Two of these suites are two-story units. The Aurora Glass Cabins offer a glass ceiling for viewing the Arctic sky from bed and include a private toilet and shower. The Aurora Sauna Suite has views of the landscape, and a loft window for Northern Lights viewing, with a double or twin bed on the upper floor and a sofa bed on the lower floor.

The Star Arctic Wilderness Restaurant serves meals prepared with local ingredients. Restaurant Kaunis offers menus, that include local reindeer, fish from Lake Inari, and arctic berries. Restaurant Kaunis' bar offers cocktails, and views. The Wilderness Center Restaurant serves meals included in booked activities. The Northern Light Wilderness Dinner features a 3-course menu of Lappish dishes cooked over an open fire.

The hotel provides activities, which include transfers between the Star Arctic Hotel and the Wilderness Center. Guests can book activities such as snowmobiling, husky sledding, and reindeer sleigh rides. The Wilderness Center plays a part in delivering experiences. A cozy bar offers beverages, wines, drinks and coffees. Private saunas at the Star Arctic Hotel are available, as well as public saunas for hotel guests. A toboggan run is located near the hotel.
